Every year out Year 6 students leave a gift for FPS. It's as if they are leaving a little piece of themselves. Their legacy piece is an artwork and the creations over the years are as follows:
– Cai Guo-Qiang Inspired Mini Murmuration Every year 6 student made a colourful bird. Unlike Cai Guo-Qiang’s flock coloured by the aftermath of gunpowder ignition to have blackened birds. Our birds are bright and colourful like the works he has done using fireworks, ours emit joy and vibrancy

– AOK Tree Each year 6 student made a leaf or flower. A tree grows as do children. Trees learn to adapt to the environment as do children. The AOK Tree rewards and promotes acts of kindness at FPS. When students do something kind a leaf with their kindness act is added to the tree. The leaves are read out in assembly and the leaf is added to the tree. It's a celebration. School wide positive behaviour teaches us how we act and behave together. It allows students to learn in a supportive environment. |

– Positive Mindset Toilet Art Working in pairs, our year 6 students either wrote or researched a positive mindset quote that aligned with their own mindset. They then utilised their design skills to illustrate their quote and they were hung in and around the students toilets. |
– Mindful Flowers Year 6 students individually painted large flowers on corflute and enhanced with a positive growth mindset quote. They were inspired by the works of Margaret Preston, Marimekko and Yayoi Kusama |
– Science Building Mural Working collaboratively, our year 6 students designed and implemented a large mural on the Science Building based on refracted colours. |
